Concept and choosing the space

For this project I chose my bedroom as the space the narrative is gonna be located. For me, my bedroom is a very significant place, a space of safety and the first opportunity to self express with no judgement, a space that can be filled however I want it to, in whatever way I want.

I want to capture the feeling of the first time you make decisions in your own bedroom, the first photos you put up, the firts drawings and fairy lights, the time you organize everything in a way that would make you comfortable living in, the building up of your own space. This brief reminded me of that feeling of intimacy that one can share with the space.

So my first thoughts were about making an installation, with video, sound and sculpture.
